"We were trying to think of way of entertaining our friends without the hard work of cooking ourselves.  We contacted L'ortolan and the chefs suggested various ways we could host a fun, relaxing evening.  We were looking to have an informal evening for 12 people with the emphasis on fun but with the quality of food and wine being absolute parmount.  We were not disappointed, the team took over the kitchen whilst we sat back and watched...  the food and wine flowed, our guests participated in making fresh pasta, watched the filletting of a huge halibut and were tempted by a non stop serving of delicious courses, with a grand finale of soufflé making.  Our guests are still talking about it now - what a fantastic evening - many thanks."
